IMMEDIATE START DELIVERY DRIVERS - FOODSERVICE DELIVERY DRIVER – EARLY START TIME – (FULL TIME, PART TIME UP TO 24 HOURS AVAILABLE, 3 DAYS A WEEK, DAYTIME DRIVERS ALSO AVAILABLE FROM 7AM- PAID BY THE HOUR)

Foodspeed is a family-owned, independent company that has built up a reputation for reliability and great customer service. We supply over 500 Hotel, restaurants, bakery and catering clients in and around London and the Home Counties with fresh milk, dairy products and ingredients from our west London distribution centre based in Hayes Middlesex.
We are seeking experienced multi-drop delivery drivers to deliver chilled dairy products to customers in and around central London. Our Delivery routes generally deliver to the same customers every day up to six times a week. Full on the job training will be given, as you will need to have full product knowledge as well as learning the customer delivery points and their requirements as well as order of route and deliver to strict time slots. The Job may also involve an element of picking and loading of products. Early starting times. Each route can have approximately 25 to 30 drops per day depending upon time available and route area.
You are expected to successfully complete 4–6-week comprehensive training period. You must be reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking with excellent time keeping and a flexible attitude and a strong work ethic. As you will be meeting many of our customers on a daily basis you will need to be polite, helpful and courteous and always give them great customer service. Order accuracy is also essential during Picking unloading and delivering. Other key responsibilities will include monitoring product temperature, complying with health & safety and hygiene regulations and checking road worthiness of vehicles and compliance of VOSA regulations. Delivering as per customer requirements.
The ideal candidate needs to fulfil the following requirements:
Possess a Current Clean Full Driving License (up to max 3 points considered)
Experience in driving Box Vans 3.5 tonne
Physically fit and have experience in manual handling.
A good general knowledge of Food safety would be helpful.
Comfortable working alone with early starts and suitable for night work.
Happy to work Six days Monday to Saturday.
