QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum UAEFA B Coaching License (mandatory).
• Proven experience managing a football academy or similar sports program.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Background in sports coaching and/or education, preferably with experience coaching children aged 3–16.
• Valid enhanced CRB/DBS check.
• Certification in Safeguarding & Protecting Children.
• Current First Aid qualification.
• Valid UAE driving license.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with children, parents, and staff.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Solid understanding of child learning processes and coaching principles.
• Ability to inspire and support children in safely acquiring new skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Football Academy Manager to lead our academy in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective coaching sessions for children of all skill levels while ensuring a safe, positive, and supportive environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and prepare thoroughly for each coaching session, collaborating closely with fellow coaches and staff.
• Deliver dynamic, enjoyable, and safe coaching sessions tailored to children aged 3–16 years.
• Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection at all times.
• Maintain clear and constructive communication with parents regarding their child’s development and progress.
• Ensure the academy complies fully with all relevant regulations, policies, and safeguarding standards.
• Build and nurture relationships with local schools, sports clubs, and community organizations to support player development initiatives.
• Strategize and implement initiatives to increase participation and engagement within the academy.
• Analyze participation trends and provide actionable insights to improve programs.
• Oversee all administrative duties including scheduling, registrations, fee collection, and equipment management.
