ABOUT THE POSITION:

Seren Kids is seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in our Guildford location as a Football Coach.
This position is a part-time/freelance position that is a with weekly hours variable. (Tuesday and Thursday’s 4:00pm - 5:30pm) Opportunity to work afterschool clubs in the same area Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the right candidate.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • UEFA C/B (highly desirable)
  • Sports related qualifications
  • Experience in sports coaching, teaching, childcare or similar environments
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and staff
  • Background in teaching, education, sports, childcare, youth work or similar environments
  • Previous roles working with children are preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to provide fun, nurturing and support in a safe manner to children
  • DBS certified or willing to undergo checks.
  • First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications desirable

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate football sessions that are fun, safe, and inclusive.
  • Foster a supportive learning environment where children can develop confidence and a love for the sport.
  • Focus on developing children’s physical literacy, teamwork, and technical football skills.
  • Provide constructive feedback on performance and fitness, and set targets to help players improve and meet their own individual goals.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Maintain a safe environment for children by following health and safety standards.
  • Assist children with completing the different activities whilst on site.
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle, kindness and teamwork by providing positive peer support and positive peer interactions.
