  “This job is a civilian position and does not require military service (including commission and enlistment)”  The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach-Football will be responsible for the design and implementation of training protocols under the direction of the Director of Speed Strength and Conditioning for Football.    Responsibilities & Duties: * Design and implement training protocols (weight room and field work) * Assist the athletic training staff in rehabilitation and injury prevention as needed * Supervision of the training sessions  * Instruction of proper exercise technique, including Olympic lifting and sprinting mechanics  * Ensure safe operation and professional supervision of the strength conditioning facility * Comply with all applicable NCAA rules and regulations Minimum Education Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree * Preferred: Master’s Degree  Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements: * Current NSCA CSCS Certification * Current CPR Certification * Minimum 2 years’ experience at the NCAA D1 level * Have demonstrated understanding and strong commitment to cultural diversity. * Have good communication skills. * Have strong leadership skills. * Have strong organizational skills. Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications: * 2 Years’ experience with Division 1 Football
