  • Highly organised with good time management skills

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a creative and talented Footwear and Accessory Product Developer to join our team based in New York, USA. The ideal candidate will be fashion obsessed with the ability to demonstrate a keen sense of taste and aesthetic judgement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage creation and development of all footwear and accessory collections from initial design handoff to final production alongside the CEO.
  • Coordinate sample development, ensuring prototypes meet design intent, fit, and quality standards.
  • Source and evaluate leathers, fabrics, trims, and hardware for performance, cost, and aesthetic alignment.
  • Partner with factories and vendors to negotiate pricing, lead times, and minimums.
  • Monitor supplier performance and troubleshoot production challenges.
  • Work with sourcing to meet target FOBs and margin requirements without compromising quality.
  • Focusing on enhancing the details, fabrication and construction of timeless silhouettes ensuring everything is truly original and tasteful
  • Create technical drawings and specifications for production
  • Preparing monthly release CAD boards for display
  • Preparing design and sign-off meeting note packs
  • Undertake and compile competitor shop reports and seasonal/monthly trend reports
