Click here to check out what over 100 years looks like in our culture! What does a Lot Attendant at Hoffman Auto Group do? Role Purpose: Responsible for ensuring safe and efficient handling of customer and company/owned vehicles. Leadership: This position does not lead others. Core Accountabilities 1. Greet all customers entering the service area and direct customers to service-write up area. Tag vehicles and install mats and seat covers. Park all vehicles in appropriate locations. 2. Maintain organized lot in order to provide easy access for customers. Includes removing any debris and snow. 3. Maintain loaner vehicles. Wash, fill gas tanks and park in designated area. Inform management of any mechanical or body repairs needed. 4. Perform alignment checks in the drive through quickly and efficiently, providing color alignments print out to the Service Consultants while the customer is still in the Consultants office. 5. Clean, wash and detail customer vehicles, shop and service drive as needed. QualificationsCompetencies and Qualifications 1. High School Diploma 2. Valid driver’s license. 3. 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service orientated environment preferred 4. Can adapt and embrace change with an internal and external customer centric mindset 5. Act as an advocate for teammates and have a strong commitment to technology advancement 6. Possesses effective communication skills: oral, written, listening. 7. Works well with customers, promotes a positive image of the company, strives to solve issues raised by customers.
Responsibilities
The Lot Attendant is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of customer and company vehicles, which includes greeting customers, tagging vehicles, parking them appropriately, and maintaining lot organization. Key tasks also involve maintaining loaner vehicles, performing quick alignment checks, and cleaning/detailing vehicles and service areas as needed.
