You’ll travel to customers, businesses, and fleets in a fully equipped Ford Mobile Service Van, performing maintenance, diagnostics, recalls, repairs, and more—all while delivering an exceptional on-site experience. Requirements JOB REQUIREMENTS To succeed in this role, applicants must meet the following: Technical & Experience Requirements Automotive technician experience (Ford experience preferred but not required) Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to perform maintenance, light repair, diagnostics, and recall work Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures Ability to use Ford IDS/FDRS diagnostic software (training provided) Certification & Training Requirements Must complete all Ford-required training and certifications, including: Ford STARS training Ford Mobile Service training modules Ford diagnostic and electrical training Ongoing Ford web-based and in-person training as released Willingness to maintain and update certifications as Ford standards evolve Professional Requirements High level of independence, accountability, and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work outdoors, on the road, and in various environments Strong organizational habits to maintain a clean and efficient mobile service van Ability to represent the dealership with trust, confidence, and professionalism WHAT WE OFFER Joining Preston Ford of Aberdeen means joining a team that believes in growth, support, and opportunity.
