Ford Racing is searching for a highly motivated and experienced Performance Engineer to drive total vehicle optimization for our LMDh entry and contribute across all Ford Racing platforms within the Performance Engineering Group. In this position... You will collaborate with engineers in vehicle dynamics, aerodynamics, powertrain, and chassis design, focusing on optimizing vehicle performance for the Ford LMDh program. You will be responsible for applying technical solutions to total vehicle performance through car build, integration, setup, simulation and race strategy. The successful candidate will focus on driving continuous improvement of performance specifically for the Ford Racing LMDh program and contribute to building a team to achieve industry leading performance across all Ford Racing disciplines. This role is hybrid and requires at least 4 days per week onsite in Allen Park, MI or Concord, NC.

Responsibilities

The engineer will focus on optimizing total vehicle performance for the Ford LMDh entry by applying technical solutions through car build, integration, setup, simulation, and race strategy. This role also involves driving continuous performance improvement for the LMDh program and contributing to building a high-performing team across all Ford Racing disciplines.
