Description
Manage all aspects of the Powertrain Unit and Platform program including planning, program control and prototype builds Ensure program deliverables are on track; working with cross functional teams to develop and execute recovery plans as required Develop presentations to clearly communicate to management the present status of deliverables and identification of issues Maintain Program Timing (VPP) that connects development Lead Times, Project milestones and Tophat vehicle programs Lead Sourcing Process for Powertrain Unit commodities (Battery, eMotor, driveline, etc) Ensure project financials match current assumptions via program 2 Pagers (CRFs) and formal CPE DF process and own the Costed BOM for all parts impacted Support Milestone paper development and reviews with Senior Leadership Moderate weekly Interface meetings to deliver Application Readiness (AR) and Unit + Platform milestones on time and with high quality Established and active employee resource groups Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering 3-5 years experience in Program Management, Product Planning, PMT and/or Design & Release Engineering Extensive program management experience with GPDS, including thorough understanding of Unit and Platform milestone deliverables and working knowledge of Perfect Drawing Plans (PDPs) A passion for performance vehicles, have a can-do/results-driven attitude and be able to maintain positive/productive working relationships across multiple corporate cultures High degree of self-motivation and willingness to commit extra effort to "get the job done" Excellent oral and written communication skills Candidate must be comfortable in speaking and working with Chief / Director level management Desired Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration Strong leadership skills with ability to drive a team to resolution with work plans and accountability Understanding of finance and low-volume sourcing principles, target-driven part design, system engineering, and experience managing supplier deliverables Experience with prototype builds (Mules, TPV, DCV, etc) Familiarity with Ford PD systems like FEDE, Global Integrator and Team Center / 3DX
