Description
The Foreclosure Attorney position will provide our new hire with a uniquely experiential opportunity to immerse themselves in the day-to-day bustle of a prestigious legal group’s Foreclosure Department. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience practicing law, in the area of creditor’s rights with an emphasis on foreclosure, the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, produce accurate and high-quality work product in a fast-paced volume-based environment. Specific Job Responsibilities: * Manage portfolio of loans during the pendency of the lawsuit * Draft and review pleadings and correspondence during the pendency of a foreclosure action * Attend court hearings and communicate with opposing counsel * Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism * Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements, as applicable Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Bar Membership in TN * Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills; strong interpersonal skills * Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence * Demonstrate an excellent ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations * Meticulous analytical skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently Required Education and Training: * Superior organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and efficiency * Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferred * 6 years of experience practicing law in foreclosure
