Description McMichael Taylor Gray , LLC is seeking a Foreclosure Paralegal for our Coral Springs, FL office location. The Foreclosure Paralegal will be responsible for coordinating foreclosure activities and processes with attorneys and other departments within the Firm as necessary during the foreclosure process. They will ensure that actions are properly documented and recorded while maintaining and adhering to the foreclosure timeline. Requirements Maintain an assigned a portfolio of loans that are in foreclosure to ensure that the loans are properly and timely processed Able to properly document the case management system with the progress and/or current status of the file Ability to pinpoint files that are not moving forward fast enough and accurately communicate what is needed in order to proceed Ensure adherence to client, state, and federal requirements Ability to enter and verify that the correct data is in the case management system Accurately draft foreclosure documents for attorney review, i.e. debt affidavits, payoffs, and reinstatement quotes Calendar regular follow-up requests for outstanding items Accountable for assigned daily workload and work in advance of upcoming deadlines Responsible for special projects and reporting required by clients Comfortable with handling incoming calls from borrowers in default Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and tasks requiring detail, concentration, and accuracy; Place outbound calls to the Clerk of Court, Register of Deeds, Sheriff Required Skills/Abilities: Working knowledge of foreclosure law and terminology Excellent professional communication skills. Position requires interaction with all interoffice personnel, managers and attorneys as well as the clients and outside vendors. Proficient with MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word Well organized, effective time management, prioritize and allocate workload for optimum efficiency Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality Strong work and business ethics; Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a Team Player Effective problem solving skills Attention to detail Working knowledge of client systems including Black Knight/LPS, Tempo, andCaseAware Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: General high-volume, fast-paced work environment Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at Occasional overtime may be required
