Zions Capital Markets is hiring a Foreign Exchange Operations Group Manager in Charlotte, NC. About the Role The FX Derivatives Operations Manager oversees the full trade-lifecycle operations for foreign exchange derivative products, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This role manages a team responsible for trade capture, confirmation, settlement, reporting, and control functions. The manager partners closely with trading, sales, risk, technology, and compliance to ensure operational excellence, mitigate risk, and enhance the overall FX derivatives operating model Essential Functions: Oversee end‑to‑end operational processes for FX derivatives, including forwards, options, NDFs, swaps, and structured products Manage and develop a team of operations analysts and senior specialists Ensure accurate and timely trade capture, validation, confirmation, and settlement Manage exception workflows and resolve breaks related to trade details, cash flows, and valuations Maintain a strong control environment to prevent operational, settlement, and reputational risk Oversee reconciliations (positions, cash, valuations, collateral) and investigate discrepancies Ensure adherence to internal policies, audit requirements, and global regulatory standards (e.g., Dodd‑Frank, EMIR, MiFID) Act as the primary operational liaison to trading desks, sales teams, corporate clients Collaborate with technology and product partners to enhance systems, automate workflows, and improve data quality Support onboarding of new products, counterparties, and system enhancements Set performance goals, provide coaching, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Lead operational readiness for new initiatives, market changes, and technology upgrades Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in FX derivatives operations, middle office, or trade support roles Strong understanding of FX derivative products, valuation concepts, and trade lifecycle workflows Ability to lead teams in fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environments Experience with FX trading and operations platforms (e.g., Spectrum, Murex, Calypso, Wallstreet FX, Bloomberg) Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to investigate complex issues Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently without direct supervision Proven ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to prioritize across multiple deadlines in a fast-moving trading environment Benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance – START DAY ONE!
