The FTZ Administrator plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing operations within a Foreign Trade Zone. Their primary responsibilities include ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, maintaining accurate inventory records, and facilitating the efficient movement of goods. This role will ensure that admissions and or movement of goods in and out of the FTZ comply with applicable government rules and regulations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Certified zone specialist (CZS), Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), or Accredited Zones Specialist (AZS)
  • 2+ years’ experience of performing FTZ duties
  • Relevant experience in customs compliance, and a plus if you are a Licensed Customs Broker (LCB)
  • FTZ operational and compliance performance and inventory control
  • Experience with CBP’s ACE system.
  • Familiarity with FTZ warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of HTS classifications
  • Excellent time management skills
