Description
Objective of job: Managing and overseeing the operations of a Foreign Trade Zone.    Principal activities: Develop internal procedures for Foreign Trade Zone, ensuring compliance with the FTZ Act and all governing CBP regulations (19 CFR 146). Manage daily Foreign Trade Zone operations, including goods flow and regulatory reporting, coordinating with various departments and third-party logistics providers. Coordinate in-bond shipments from port of arrival. Monitors and reconcile FTZ inventory, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. Acts as the primary liaison to CBP, FTZ Board and customs broker as it pertains to FTZ operations. Create the annual FTZ reconciliation report. Record keeping for documentation pertaining to FTZ operations. Assist Manager in working with U.S. Customs during on-site audits. Implements KPIs to assess the efficiency and compliance of the FTZ. Conducts internal audits to ensure compliance. Evaluate risk exposure and propose appropriate actions. Update and report to direct management on FTZ activities. Keep up to date with the legal requirements related to FTZ operations, in bond shipments and import - export activities. Provide guidance and support to internal teams on FTZ-related matters. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.   Job requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Trade or related field preffered.  Certified Zone Specialist. 5+ years of experience in FTZ Operations. 3 to 5 years of experience working with FTZ Software.  3 to 5 years of Import/Export compliance or customs brokerage.  3 to 5 years of Automotive experience preferred.      We are looking forward to your application.   Company / Legal Entity: DAA Dräxlmaier Automotive of America LLC., Org-Code: F-AM63
