It's import and export work, but it's also so much more than we imagine. ‎ A Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Supervisor oversees FTZ operations, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, managing daily activities like admissions and exports, leading the FTZ team, and acting as a liaison with clients, carriers, and CBP How you create impact Manage daily FTZ activities, including processing admissions, tracking inventory, handling in-bonds, and overseeing exports and zone-to-zone transfers Ensure adherence to all FTZ and CBP regulations, conduct quality reviews of trade processes, and prepare reports for the annual FTZ Board and U.S. Customs Act as a primary contact for clients and users of the FTZ, participate in conference calls, and provide guidance and support Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, CBP, and various internal departments (e.g., logistics, engineering, tax, IT) to resolve issues and ensure efficient operations Supervise and provide direction to the FTZ team, manage performance, and contribute to their professional growth Maintain detailed and accurate records, update FTZ operations manuals, and manage FTZ data integrity Troubleshoot and resolve complex logistics issues, discrepancies, and system challenges to prevent delays and ensure smooth operations What we would like you to bring High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field (like business, logistics, or international trade) being preferred 4+ years of experience in Foreign Trade Zones, customs brokerage, or trade compliance In-depth understanding of FTZ regulations, U.S. customs laws, import/export processes, and trade compliance Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with FTZ Strong Leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure What's in it for you There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
