As a key member of our organization, you will lead and oversee carpentry operations for complex bridge construction projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and timely project completion. Supervise and coordinate carpentry teams on bridge construction sites Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications Plan and organize daily work schedules for carpentry crews Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Operate and maintain construction equipment as needed Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trade professionals Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving issues promptly Manage inventory and order materials as required Train and mentor junior carpenters, promoting skill development Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections Ensure compliance with local construction regulations and building codes Qualifications Minimum 5-7 years of experience in carpentry, with at least 3 years specifically in bridge construction Proven supervisory experience in leading carpentry teams Expert knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings Strong understanding of bridge construction methods and structural engineering principles Excellent project management and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to operate construction equipment safely Outstanding communication and leadership abilities Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry preferred OSHA certification required Familiarity with construction industry regulations and standards Ability to work in challenging outdoor environments and at heights Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary Business Line: Consulting and Operations Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: OnM Operations Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Operations and Maintenance - Management Profession: Services and Operations Supervisor I
