JOB OVERVIEW

The Foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating site activities related to storm water drainage, utilities, and infrastructure works. The role ensures work is executed in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Diploma or Technical Certification in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure projects, specifically storm water, drainage, and utilities.
  • Strong knowledge of underground utilities, excavation, pipe laying, and road works.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing site teams and subcontractors.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards in construction

Responsibilities
  • Supervision of day to day site operations regarding utilities, storm water and roads infrastructure work.
  • assignment and monitoring of tasks
  • Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with Site Engineers, Safety Officers, and other supervisors to maintain smooth site execution.
  • Monitor use of materials, manpower, and equipment to ensure efficiency and minimal wastage.
  • Oversee installation of pipelines, manholes, catch basins, culverts, chambers, and related storm water infrastructure.
  • Maintain site safety, enforce HSE policies, and ensure workers use PPE correctly.
  • Prepare daily progress reports and update the Project Engineer / Site Engineer.
  • Identify and resolve site issues, delays, and technical challenges in coordination with the engineering team.
  • Ensure proper quality control measures are implemented at each stage of work.
