Position: Ship Yard Foreman (Night shift) Job Location: Belle Chase, LA Hutco Branch: Harvey, LA Rate of Pay: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour based on experience (time and a half for overtime after 40 hours) Description: Hutco Inc. is looking for a shipyard repair Foreman (Night shift) for a yard located in Belle Chase, LA. Experience is required. Must have knowledge in removing wheel shafts, rudders, and coolers, and be able to manage a minimum crew of 10 people. NO TWIC card required. NO per diem is available. Long-term work. LOTS OF HOURS AVAILABLE!!! Requirements: Oversees day-to-day repairs of marine vessels on yard. Instructs personnel on procedures and repairs to be accomplished on each job. Complies with written repair specifications. Logs time cards for each employee, ensuring the correct job number and phases for each. Effectively utilize equipment and personnel in order to keep the barge comment schedule on track. Maintains a safety watch over all aspects of yard jobs.
