Description

1.Carry out maintenance and implement an approved maintenance program in order to achieve agreed service levels and reduce downtime and wastage to meet the overall business objective. 2. Keep the documentation by capturing machine breakdowns and downtime through data collection in order to measure the rate of machine breakdowns and formulate long term solutions. 3. Carry out re-furbishing, replacements, alterations and automation of specific operations based on age analysis, downtime and utilisation of machinery in order to optimize production and reduce costs. 5. Upskill Assistant and General mechanics regularly in order to meet and minimise downtime and optimize productivity. 6. Assist to check and ascertain the quantity and quality of all mechanical parts ordered by the maintenance department in order to confirm that item specifications meets all the requirements. 7. Assist in Maintenance of mechanical spares stock control of fast moving items in order to reduce buying lead time and machine downtime.
