Your Purpose An exciting opportunity exists for a world class Foreman to join our newly created luxury travel brand “Explora Journeys”. The Foreman supports the Staff Chief Engineer and Daily Engineer Officer in all activities relating to operations and the general maintenance of the Engine Department. Your Impact • Consult daily the Staff Engineer and Daily Engineer Officer concerning methods and procedures for the maintenance and upkeep of the department • Assign maintenance and repair duties to engine department personnel and actively supervise in overhaul and repair works. Foreman shall inspect work in progress and on completion, assure that manpower is utilized to the fullest extent, that work is properly performed in accordance with acceptable standards and that no wastage of materials occurs. • Supervise the use of appropriate material for maintenance, adequate safet for personnel and equipment • Prepare requisition for Engine Department stores and spare parts and submit them to the Staff Engineer for approval • Maintain an inventory of material on hand and on order. Your Journey So Far 1. Fluent in oral and written English (working language of the Company) 2. Ability to speak, read and write in any other major European language is considered an advantagethat might influence the selection for this position. 3.Extensive experience with diverse Luxury/Premium hospitality venues in the dining operations. 4. Previous experience in Start Ups/Pre-openings is an advantage. 5. Excellent management and organizational skills;6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
