JOB OVERVIEW:

Powell Foundations is seeking a skilled Foreman to lead deep foundation construction projects in the GTA. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in deep foundation work, a strong understanding of MTO construction standards, and proven leadership skills to ensure project success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years of experience in deep foundation construction (e.g., CFA, pile driving, or shoring).
• Knowledge of MTO construction standards and processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Familiarity with formwork, rebar installation, and concrete finishing techniques.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• OSHA or equivalent safety certification is an asset.

• Supervise and coordinate crew activities for deep foundation projects, including pile driving, shoring, noise wall and footing installation.
• Ensure compliance with MTO construction standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and technical drawings.
• Plan and assign tasks to optimize crew efficiency and meet project deadlines.
• Monitor equipment use, maintain material inventories, and ensure proper formwork and rebar installation.
• Report progress, challenges, and safety concerns to project managers.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
