SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Spray Seal Foreman to work out of our Townsville depot. Applicants will have experience in the supervision of plant, labour and subcontractors for pavement works with a proven track record in the delivery of part service and subcontract civil construction projects in accordance with specifications, financial and reporting requirements.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Min. 3 years’ experience as a foreman in Civil Construction/ Spray Seal / Asphalting environment and previous experience as a an Operator is preferable
  • Knowledge of plant and materials
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Computer literacy with preferred proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project, along with standard written communication
Responsibilities
  • Assistance with quotation and tender activities
  • Project preparation and planning
  • Management of resources and materials in consultation with Operations Manager
  • Ensuring works are carried out in an efficient manner that meets quality requirements
  • Daily and weekly reporting
  • Client and stakeholder communication
  • Willingness to travel and work away as required
  • A demonstrated knowledge and application of OH&S and environmental legislation is essential along with a genuine commitment to a safe and productive work environment.
