Description

THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

We are currently on the lookout for a Analyst, who specialises in financial crime, to join our team in Auckland. The focus for the first 12 months will see you joining a small team of Deloitte Financial Crime Analysts working with a key bank client to ensure enhanced customer due diligence (ECDD) is conducted on the Bank’s higher-risk customers. You will provide flexible financial crime-related support to the Bank, with regular customer contact at the core of the work. After the initial ECDD assignment you may be required to perform other financial crime-related operational functions.

ENOUGH ABOUT US, LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU. YOU ARE SOMEONE WHO DEMONSTRATES STRONG:

  • Experience: 1-2 plus years in a financial crime banking environment, ideally with customer facing experience. ECDD experience is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: An eye for detail and quality.
  • Decision Making: Ability to make informed decisions while capturing the rationale for those decisions, ability to demonstrate initiative while balancing the need to escalate issues accordingly.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal fluency with the ability to convey complex requests concisely, adjusting your communication style to the audience/customer.
  • Organisation: Ability to organise and prioritise multiple tasks, as well as adapting to business needs.
  • Customer Experience: Takes pride and commitment in quality customer service.
