We are looking for an experienced and motivated Remedial/Forensic Engineer to join our highly respected National Forensic team and to help support our next stage of exciting growth. If you are relationship and client focused and strive to be part of a technically astute team, then this opportunity would suit you.
You will join an established national team of highly regarded Forensic Engineers in an environment which values teamwork, learning and mutual respect.
You will be required to inspect residential, commercial and institutional buildings, industrial buildings, and other built environment infrastructure, depending on requirements. Our service typically involves insurance or legal matters or the provision of advice to asset owners and managers.
Based on your assessment and findings you will produce technical/expert reports, providing cause of damage, extent of damage and recommendations for repair. From there you will be required to compiled detailed Scopes of Works for repair and ultimately to provide site supervision services.
This is a great opportunity for an established Design Engineer looking for a new direction or an Engineer with field inspection experience who wants a challenging but highly rewarding career in the field of remedial engineering and/or forensic assessment.

Responsibilities
  • Site inspections of damaged/defective residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
  • Based on your assessment and findings you will produce technical/expert reports, providing cause of damage, extent of damage and recommendations for repair.
  • Provide structural analysis and design for various projects as required.
  • Compile Scopes of Work for repair / remediation.
  • Good understanding of Australian Standards in concrete, steelwork, masonry and timber construction.
  • Strong people and organisational skills
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Prior experience in Forensic/Remedial engineering preferred, but not essential
  • The ability to work autonomously, be thorough, methodical and with attention to detail
