We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Team Leader to join our Environmental Science Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride. We are looking for a reliable, motivated and committed Team Leader to join our Forensics team. As a member of our team, it is key that you can work efficiently and independently, as well as working well as part of a wider team. While you may be performing the same array of tests day to day, the projects you will support will constantly change. The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to): To lead and manage a team of forensic staff to ensure analytical work, reporting and laboratory processes are delivered to the required quality standards, specifications and turnaround times Coordinate team workload, monitoring performance against departmental targets, and ensuring staff are trained, competent and operating in compliance with laboratory quality systems, including ISO17025 and Forensic Regulator requirements Provide technical guidance and support to team members, act as an escalation point for technical queries, and ensure that operational efficiency, quality standards and service level agreements are consistently achieved Qualifications Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to motivate and develop staff within a busy production environment Ability to balance operational delivery with quality and compliance requirements Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude Additional Information Why SOCOTEC?
