What you’ll do at DBH: Act as Liaison between the Court/Jail Establish and maintain relationships with other facilities, agencies, & support services Establish, implement, and direct social services programs Develop and design treatment intervention techniques, and procedures Evaluate patients progress, make recommendations, and conduct follow-ups Complete documentation requirements Maintain confidential records Attend and participate in meetings & trainings This is an hourly position covered by the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of #10 or #11 on the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. This position is located within our HEARTLAND BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE campus at 3000 Erie Street S., Massillon, OH 44646. Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter. Additional Salary / Appointment Information: Pay Range Scale for Social Worker 1 is #10. The hourly pay supplement is $2.67. Pay Range Scale for Social Worker 2 (LISW) is #11. The hourly pay supplement is $2.91. Retention and recruitment supplement offered after 12+ months of service. Position Qualifications Requires current license as social worker (i.e., LSW) as issued by State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker & Marriage & Family Therapist Board in accordance with ORC 4757.28. Pursuant to ORC 4757.41 (A)(5) any person engaging in social work or professional counseling as a civil service employee as defined in section 124.01 of the Revised Code who has at least two years of service as of July 10, 2014 is exempt from current licensure as social worker (i.e. LSW) requirement. All eligible applications shall be reviewed considering the following criteria: qualifications, experience, education, active disciplinary record, and work record.
