JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking to recruit to a highly motivated and organised Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist to the Forensic Support Service. A strong knowledge base in working with individuals with a Learning Disability, mental health conditions and neurodevelopmental disorders is desirable.
We are a tertiary service providing specialist input into secondary teams within Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to support the management of individuals who are at risk of offending.
The team aims to reduce the likelihood of individuals requiring secure hospital admission, however we also support individuals who are progressing out of the forensic pathway.

Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

The successful individual will need to demonstrate a high level of clinical competency in evidence based forensic risk assessment and formulation, to support pathway management, public protection and service user outcomes.
The post holder will require excellent communication skills and be able to work both autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team.
