JOB DESCRIPTION:

Amentum is currently seeking a Forensic Technical Representative (FTR) to provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) expertise, knowledge and advise the Geographical Combatant Commands (GCC), Army Service Component Commands (ASCC), Commander and Staff concerning the collection, preservation, and exploitation of Collectable Exploitable Material (CEM). While integrating forensic standards and capabilities within the assigned (GCC) and (ASCC) area of operations. This is a full-time position based in Wiesbaden Germany.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Eight (8) years of experience in support of Government and Military operations and forensic and biometric communities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following areas of study Business, Computer Science, or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and experience in writing technical reports, preparing and presenting briefings at the O-5 Staff Officer and above level
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, interpret, and assist in implementing Concept of Operations Plan (CONOP), Theater Campaign Plans (TCP), Operations Plans (OPLAN), Operation Orders (OPORD), Request for Forces (RFF), Contingency Plans (CONPLAN), Theater Security Operation Plans (TSCP)
  • Working Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD and Department of Justice (DOJ) Identity Management solutions and processes
  • Prior experience working in or directing forensic laboratory operations
  • Prior experience in support of Geographical Combatant Commands (GCC), Army Service Component Commands (ASCC) and Task Forces
  • Deployment experience in the support of named operations ‘
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a DOD Top Secret clearance.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. passport
  • Must be able to complete and pass a medical assessment per customer requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience working in or directing forensic laboratory operations
  • Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
  • Extensive knowledge of the forensic processes for the collection, preservation, and forensic exploitation of Collectable Exploitable Material (CEM)
Responsibilities
  • Assist in determining forensic exploitation requirements is support Partner Nation capacity building engagements
  • Coordinate GCC/ASCC forensic engagement opportunities to incorporate forensic exploitation into key theater exercises, Subject Matter Expert Exchanges (SMEE) and Military to Military Engagements (M2M)
  • Develop forensic guidance for inclusion into Theater Campaign Plan (TCP), Operations Plan (OPLAN), Operations Order (OPORD), Contingency Plan (CONPLAN), and Theater Security Cooperation Plan (TSCP)
  • Assist GCC/ASCC in developing Requests for Forces (RFF) to meet forensic exploitation support requirements
  • Identify any rapid response requirements and codify them in theater Prepare to Deploy Orders (PTDO)
  • Codify enduring forensic exploitation support requirements in the GCC Integrated Priority List (IPL)
