As a Foreperson, you’ll lead your team, organise, plan and oversee projects and operations to ensure that work is completed a high standard. You will:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities on-site, including managing personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and compliance regulations, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to achieve project milestones and resolve issues.
  • Monitor work progress and quality, providing guidance and support to team member

NGA PŪKENGA MATUA | IMPORTANT SKILLS

You will bring with you experience in a supervisory role within the construction or related industry. You’ll easily be able to deal with unexpected events and provide direction to your team. You’ll couple this with:

  • A Class 2 drivers’ licence with a WTR endorsement will be highly regarded
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with unexpected events whilst provide direction
  • A flexible work approach, as no two days are the same
  • Organised and systematic approach to your working environment
  • Effective communication skills, you’ll be able to easily chat with your crew and engage with clients and senior managers
