As a Forest School Lead at N Family Club, you’ll be our go-to outdoor learning expert – bringing a fresh perspective to traditional teaching! You’ll lead outdoor sessions for children aged 2 and up, helping them explore, play, and learn in the great outdoors. You’ll also inspire your team to get stuck in and use Forest School ideas with confidence. Your key responsibilities Plan and deliver fun and innovative Forest School sessions. Supervise and support children with varying needs. Create a fun, engaging, and supportive environment for all children. Participate in training and learning activities. Embed and role-model all policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behavioural safety. Keep the woodland and green spaces well-maintained throughout the day to protect the environment and our resources. Our Forest School Leads should have... A Level 3 Forest School Lead qualification. Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and a commitment to remain compliant. Outdoor first aid training. Relevant safeguarding/child protection training and be willing to update that training regularly. A Level 2 or above Early Years qualification (not essential, but desirable). A genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children. A positive, glass-half-full outlook.
