WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is creative, playful, and child-centred
  • Level 3 Forest School Qualification
  • Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Can lead and motivate a team
  • Understands the value of nature-based learning
  • Is confident planning and delivering both structured and free-play activities
  • Is committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience working with children (desirable)
  • Level 3 Forest School,
  • Enhanced DBS Check (required — we can support with this if needed)
  • A love of the outdoors and a willingness to work in all weather
    Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract
    Pay: £12.51-£15.00 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE

Must have Forest School Level 3 Qualification
As a Forest School lead you’ll be leading provision in local primary schools. You’ll plan and deliver creative, play-based learning experiences indoors and outdoors, rooted in our values of Safety, Care, Pride and Perform.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with Forest School.
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, cared for, and inspired
  • Lead outdoor sessions that foster confidence, curiosity, and teamwork
  • Manage the daily operation of the provision, including registers, ratios, and safeguarding
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating setting in all weather conditions
  • Communicate confidently with parents and school staff, building positive relationships
