QUALIFICATIONS:

• The Forging Engineer must hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering
• Must have 5 years of experience in forging from aerospace/ defense industry
• Must have sound knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards
• The Forging Engineer must have excellent communication and computer skills

· The Forging Engineer will design forging processes and associated tooling.
· Interpret customer and industry specifications for compliance.
· Apply material property knowledge to support production.
· The Forging Engineer will review purchase orders for accuracy and procedural alignment.
· Assist with preliminary design and quote preparation.
· Lead cost reduction and process improvement projects.
· Collaborate with teams and customers on project requirements.
· The Forging Engineer will plan and coordinate project execution.
· Resolve quality issues using corrective action methods.
· Support business development, sales, and manufacturing.
· Coordinate with suppliers and external processors.
· The Forging Engineer will verify vendor certifications meet required standards.
· Develop heat treatment procedures (normalize, anneal).
· Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
