Masstemps are currently recruiting for a skilled Forklift counterbalance Operator to join our busy and expanding manufacturing client based on the outskirts of Bewdley . The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within a yard and manufacturing facility. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety protocols while ensuring efficient operations in the warehouse environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Forklift Counterbalance Operator
• Have an in date, accredited Forklift counterbalance license ( essential)
• Strong understanding of materials handling processes and warehouse operations.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for success in this role.

DUTIES

• Operate a forklift counterbalance truck safely and efficiently to load and unload goods from lorries and storage areas.
• Operate Forklift counterbalance to load products such a timber to and from production lines.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of all materials handled.
• Handle materials with care, adhering to safety guidelines while performing heavy lifting as required.
• Maintain the warehouse management system by updating inventory records and tracking shipments.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication throughout the warehouse.
• Keep the work area organised and free from hazards, promoting a safe working environment.
