Job Description Thornton Engineering is seeking a reliable and versatile All-Rounder to join our busy Corio operations. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in dispatch, forklift operations, and preferably dogging or rigging. Whether you're an experienced dispatch hand from a steel or heavy fabrication background, or a hardworking labourer looking to take the next step, we want to hear from you. About the Role: Reporting to the Day Shift Supervisor, your duties will vary day to day and may include: Operating forklifts to load/unload trucks and move materials around the yard Assisting in dispatch and receiving of steel components and materials Supporting rigging/lifting operations and general yard duties Helping with basic labouring tasks as needed (Optional) Local MR truck driving for occasional deliveries (if licensed) Qualifications The following licenses and experience are desired: A current Forklift Licence (required) Rigging/Dogging ticket highly regarded but not essential Experience in dispatch, warehousing, or a steel yard/fabrication environment preferred Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and on your feet A team player with a good attitude and strong work ethic MR or above truck licence (desirable, not essential) Available for an immediate start Additional Information What do you get in return?
