JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for the night shift to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload pallets. This is fast paced environment loading and unloading double decker trailers so experience in a similar environment is essential.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate Warehouse Management Systems effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Valid counterbalance FLT certification ITSARR OR RITIB

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload materials from trailers
• Move materials to designated locations within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in inventory management by keeping accurate records of materials handled using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely shipping and receiving of goods.
• Conduct heavy lifting and materials handling as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
