JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team as a glass operator assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move, locate, and transport products within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience operating forklifts, scissor lift, and front-end loader
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and systems.
• Valid forklift license
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the role.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not mandatory.

• Operate legacy dryer and slag milling equipment
• Operate forklift, scissor lift, and front-end loader for material and waste transfer
• Perform order picking tasks using a warehouse management system to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Load and unload materials from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Assist in maintaining an organized and clean work environment within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Utilize basic math skills for inventory management and order verification. Maintain written quality records
