Job Description Receives, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment and products within the warehouses/plant Convey materials and items from receiving to storage or production areas on a routine basis using fork truck/hand truck/pallet jack Unload flatbed/van trucks Understands bin location systems and First In First Out (FIFO) with regards to batch dated materials Experience reading Bills of Lading, shipping documents and Picking Lists Complete special projects when assigned by supervisor in a timely manner Assist with cycle counts as needed Shows initiative by supporting safety plant wide Reports any mechanical or operational difficulty with any equipment Uses safe work practices and always reports hazardous conditions Ensures accurate material picking Ensures production line is kitted out with needed materials daily Maximizes storage capacity by ensuring materials are stored correctly within the warehouses Ensures storage and distribution meet high quality housekeeping standards Ensures departmental continuous compliance with internal and external policies and procedures Qualifications Minimum of 2 years forklift/warehousing experience required. Ability to lift, push or pull at least 50 lbs is required. Must be able to work in non-temperature controlled environment. Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel repetitively. Ability to reach or work above the shoulder. Additional Information The Pay Range for this position is $20 - $22 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
