OVERVIEW

We are a Blueberry processing and packaging plant located in Pitt Meadows BC.
We are looking for skilled and safety-conscious Forklift drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move products throughout the warehouse.

Job Description:

• Moving products and supplies around facility
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Organizing freezers and coolers
• Conducting pre-trip inspections
• Inspection of products during receiving and shipping
• Verifying the accuracy of records and paperwork
• Holding non-conforming products and reporting any findings and actions taken to Quality Management.
• Any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Must have a valid forklift ticket
• Must have vehicle (No public transportation available in the area)
• Must be able to write clearly and legibly.
• Well organized, detail oriented and works well with others
• Problem identification and solving capabilities.
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in a food processing environment is an asset.
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal
  Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week

• French not required

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
