In this role, you will operate an electric stand-up forklift to move pallets of merchandise from delivery trailers to the receiving department, ensure accurate inventory counts, and assist with organizing and shipping materials. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Complete daily forklift safety checklist and adhere to all safety procedures Ensure truck wheels are chocked and dock lock is in place before entering trailers Operate stand-up forklift to move pallets and other materials within the warehouse Load, unload, and stack merchandise efficiently and safely Verify shipments against freight bills and report damaged or misshipped items Inventory materials on the work floor and provide materials to coworkers as needed Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) for tracking raw and finished goods Consolidate and pick products as required Monitor building access and maintain security procedures Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Requirements High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months of related experience or training (or equivalent combination) Demonstrated forklift operating experience Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with tens and hundreds Ability to read simple words, sentences, and recognize patterns in numbers Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly Physical Demands: Frequent standing, reaching, handling, and using hands Occasional walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling Required vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment Work Environment: Exposure to moving mechanical parts Loud work environment Safety-conscious atmosphere Equal Opportunity Employer: Redbarn Pet Products is an equal opportunity employer.
