• Team Global Express is currently seeking a qualified Forklift Operator to commence immediately at our Townsville based Location.
• This is a Full time, Permanent role, Monday to Friday
• Overtime is available and will be offered on a need by need basis
• Unload and load vehicles and sort them appropriately and safely
• Scanning freight, freight sortation and re-palletising of freight
• Picking and preparing runs for following day
• Palletizing freight for travel where required
• Ensuring the correct movement and distribution of freight in a timely manner.
• Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instructions closely.
• Identifying damages and reporting in accordance with site process
• Ensure compliance and safety is always adhered to.
• Must have a safety-first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently.
• Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes.Restraining loads safely as well as the correct use of straps where required.
