Description SIt-down Forklift Employment Type: Full-Time Rate of Pay: $18.00 Job Description Purpose and Scope: The Forklift Driver ensures efficient and safe movement of products within the warehouse, fulfilling customer orders, assisting with receiving and inventory operations, and maintaining accuracy and speed standards. This role supports a cohesive team environment and promotes workplace safety and respect. Responsibilities: Operate a forklift to fill customer orders in a fast-paced environment. Move products efficiently and safely using various equipment. Use an RF scanner gun to identify the correct products for receiving, moving, gathering, or distributing to complete customer orders. Document and maintain inventory records. Assist the Receiving Department with unloading new merchandise from trucks when needed. Back-up shipping/receiving loading and unloading containers. Support the Inventory and Returns Departments with daily operations. Maintain a positive attitude and foster a sense of teamwork. Assist other departments with work activities as needed. Build strong relationships within the warehouse to promote a safe and respectful working environment. Maintain order selection performance standards for speed and accuracy with minimal damage. Ensure labels and pallets are accurate. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Required PPE: Safety Vest String Knit Gloves Non-slip safety steel toe footwear Skills / Other: Must be able to lift to 50 LBS. without assistance. Work from a platform at a height of 30 feet above ground. Demonstrated troubleshooting abilities. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment and work independently. Job Competency / QualificationsEducation/ Training: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Clear background check and drug screen Completion of forklift driving course Forklift certification and be able to present the certificate upon hire. Technical Requirements: Previous warehouse experience. Prior experience as a forklift operator.
