Description

A busy factory in the Naas Area are currently seeking a Warehouse Administrator with forklift experience.
This role includes managing schedules, systems and documentation central to the effective operation of warehouse activities.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • A competent professional manner with knowledge of warehouse operations, scheduling systems, logistics or other fields relevant to the role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate across a wide range of interested parties including your line manager, department colleagues, external customers and suppliers.
  • Strong Attention to Detail.
  • High degree of numeracy.
  • PC literacy including MS Office.
Responsibilities

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE;

  • Liaising with customers and hauliers to arrange and agree bookings in and out of the warehouse and assist with their enquiries.
  • Maintaining a detailed and accurate system for managing inbound and outbound deliveries to provide an efficient warehouse schedule. This should take account of, and plan to meet;
  • Organising bay availability and Impending deliveries collections
  • Ensure that all dispatch and receipt documentation is sufficiently complete and accurate including delivery dockets, health certs, export documentation, proof of deliveries etc.
  • Ensure that all relevant customs and excise clearance documentation and health certifications are completed and authorized in advance of dispatching.
  • Communicate with warehouse staff on inbound trailer arrivals and any specific requirement of the offloading process.
  • Complete other administration duties relevant to the role including faxing, filing, fielding incoming calls and maintaining office and warehouse supplies.
  • Provide warehouse labour cover and support in the event of staffing constraints due to holidays, sickness, increased demand or any other circumstance that drives a requirement for additional labour in the warehouse.
  • Manage oversight and control of inventory levels through the Warehouse Management System
  • Ensure that the inward/outward stock recording and inventory process is followed, maintained and kept accurate at all times.
  • Complete regular stock cycle counts and participate in monthly stock-takes to update and verify system inventory levels..
