Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

To load / unload goods & oversee warehouse stock management and paperwork along with warehouse operative duties
Mon - Friday 7.30am -4.30pm
45 hours per week

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting, and operating the forklift truck.
  • Safely receive and unload goods into the workshop / warehouse.
  • Accurately palletise, pack goods and move stock around the warehouse.
  • Operate a heat shrink-wrap system effectively.
  • Band metal coils as required.
  • Accurately label and control stock.
  • Safely despatch goods from the workshop / warehouse.
  • Take personal responsibility for the health and safety of self and others.
  • Ensure all work is produced to the highest quality / standard.
  • Meet the required productivity levels.
  • Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties across the warehouse, including use of a pedestrian-controlled sweeper.
  • Ensure inventory are accurately maintained by completing stock paperwork and recording stock movements.
  • Store / maintain all relevant equipment and machinery safely.
  • Complete training as required by the business including certified training.
  • Carry out other tasks and duties as reasonably required.
  • Report any issues on damaged Goods in / out.
  • Delivery and collections using the company vehicle as instructed by the Good In/Out Supervisor.
  • Any other duties deemed appropriate by the line manager.
