SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Current LO Licence (Order Picker High Reach licence).
  • Demonstrated 12 months experience operating LO Order Pickers in a warehouse or distribution centre environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under time constraints.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer/WMS knowledge for scanning and stock movement.
  • Comfortable working at heights in high-bay storage areas.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle cartons or stock safely in accordance with manual handling practices.

Responsibilities
  • Operate LO Order Picker and other MHE (Material Handling Equipment) to retrieve and store stock in high-bay racking.
  • Perform bulk putaway of inbound goods into high-bay storage areas, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Replenish pick locations with stock based on replenishment schedules and system prompts.
  • Conduct cycle counting and assist with stocktake activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Perform picking tasks at height as required, ensuring correct stock is retrieved safely and accurately.
  • Conduct pre-start checks on equipment to ensure operational safety.
  • Follow all warehouse safety protocols, traffic management rules, and load-handling procedures.
  • Accurately scan and confirm stock movements within the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Maintain stock integrity by ensuring goods are handled with care and placed in the correct locations.
  • Report damages, discrepancies, or safety hazards immediately to supervisors.
  • Contribute to housekeeping standards, ensuring aisles and replenishment zones remain safe and clear.
  • Work collaboratively with other warehouse team members to support the overall flow of operations.
