FORKLIFT LOADING AND UNLOADING SUPERVISOR

Location: Wickford
Salary: £30,000 per annum + paid overtime
Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (some flexibility required, paid overtime)
We are partnering with a leading company in the logistics and distribution sector to recruit an experienced Forklift Loading and Unloading Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional to step into a key supervisory role, leading a team to ensure smooth and safe loading and unloading operations.

As the Forklift Loading and Unloading Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise daily loading and unloading activities across the warehouse and yard.
• Lead and coordinate a team of forklift drivers and operatives to achieve efficient turnaround times.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards.
• Conduct regular safety checks and monitor equipment condition.
• Enforce safe stacking practices within the warehouse.
• Provide training to new staff on forklift operation, safety, and loading procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of operations and team performance.
• Respond to operational delays or incidents with corrective actions.
