Join our Raymond Team as a Forklift Mechanic!   The Role: We’re seeking a experienced and dedicated Forklift Mechanic who brings enthusiasm, energy and mechanical expertise to the table. In this role, you will assist in repairing forklifts and preparing them for resale at the end of a customer lease. Provide repair and maintenance to forklifts by using standard procedures, tools, materials, machines and equipment while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. We value innovative and creative ideas so, if you enjoy tackling challenges with positivity and a bit of humor, you’ll feel right at home here.   What You’ll Be Doing: * Provide repair and maintenance to Raymond electric forklifts.  * Assess, diagnose, repair and/or replace damaged or worn parts on a variety of Raymond forklifts. * Prepare and maintain accurate records of services and labor to track costs so forklifts can be properly priced for resale and reflect the value of quality offered by Raymond.  * Submit all work orders as required to supervisor for approval to ensure budgets are maintained and costs of repairs are accurately reflected. * Follow standard work to complete tasks and perform all duties in accordance with best practices for a safe work environment.   What We’re Looking For: * General Mechanical aptitude/knowledge or hydraulics and electrical and/or automotive mechanical experience. * Ability to use hand and power tools safely. * Ability to read and interpret work orders, equipment manuals, and safety documentation. * Basic computer skills and ability to document repair activity.  * Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and following established maintenance procedures. * Willingness to learn and develop skills through on-the-job training and manufacturer-supported programs. What Sets You Apart: * 1 + years of related mechanical or automotive experience * A High School Diploma or GED Where and When You’ll Work: * This is an in-person role located at our East Syracuse, New York facility—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.  All required tools for successful completion of your work are provided by the company. * This role is first shift Monday through Friday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM. Some overtime required to support production demands. * What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like: Wage - $19.76 - $24.95 per hour.
