Qualifications SUMMARY: This position is responsible for operating a forklift in our alternative engineered fuel facility in Gray Court, SC, second shift. Job Duties: * Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner * Monitors equipment assigned to the area and notifies the supervisor of major/minor issues and breakdowns * Responsible for the unloading and loading of wastes in conformance to company rules and regulations * Offloads and Check-in inbound waste streams * Must perform daily PM and inspections on operating equipment * Load, unload waste safely in accordance with Company, federal, state, and local regulations/rules * Operate a fork truck with attachments * Check for inconsistencies with manifested types and quantities with actual containers received in accordance with Company rules and regulations * Use proper equipment to remove samples of materials for analysis and compatibility checks * Responsible for keeping work areas, walls, pit drain, and floor in a clean and safe condition * Understand Coding and labeling systems to handle and manage containers * Position handles materials and will often require the use of PPE: Boots, Gloves, Suits, Eye/Ear Protection, and Respirator * Shovels, sweeps, and cleans the area in which they are assigned periodically throughout the day Requirements: * 1-3 years of shipping receiving and warehouse experience * Valid Driver’s License Required * High School Diploma/GED * Able to operate Forklift/heavy equipment * Ability to work well with others * Lift up to 75lbs * Climbing/Balance/bending/stooping/crawling * Standing/Sitting * Pushing/Pulling * Use of power tools
