JOB SUMMARY     The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating industrial trucks and material-handling equipment to safely move, locate, load, and unload material and dumpsters within production facilities. This role is essential for maintaining efficient workflow, accurate inventory, and safe handling of materials. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES    1. Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). 2. Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport materials and containers throughout the facility. 3. Stack, organize, and store containers and metal in designated locations  4. Inspect loads to ensure safety and stability during transport  5. Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance  6. Maintain clean forklifts, make sure they are washed once per week.   7. Comply with company safety policies. 8. Attend safety meetings. 9. Report immediately any safety violations and correct unsafe acts or conditions. 10. Maintain properly all equipment to include safety equipment and tools. 11. Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS * Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other related equipment  * Attention to detail * A safety mindset * Basic computer navigation skills * Written and oral communication skills in English PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS     * High school diploma or its equivalent * Forklift certification
