JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION SUMMARY: Food Production - Forklift Opr PR02 - Full-Time Starting pay: $18.45/HR with a shift differential for 2nd shift & 3rd shift. This position is responsible for carefully operating a forklift to move packages and materials around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety in accordance with Tysons production guidelines and Safety. RESPONSIBILITIES: Required to operate forklift and electronic pallet jack. Load and unload trucks. Use handheld scanner. Maintain Inventory. Small mechanical adjustments. Must be willing and able to visually inspect product for any deficiencies. Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor. Perform general housekeeping duties in the department. Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements. Ability to use computer. Must be willing and able to obtain the Forklift Certification. Must be willing and able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms above shoulder level up to 65lbs. Must be willing and able to reach high and low levels, frequently. Must be willing and able to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently. Must be willing and able to climb step ladders and or stairs. Must be willing and able to perform repetitive movements. Must be willing and able to stand on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day. Must be willing and able to work in cold and damp environments.
