We have a full-time position available in our Shipping and Warehousing department. This is a permanent position and we offer a comprehensive benefits package.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Forklift operator works as part of a team on overlapping shifts. He operates forklifts and other manual and powered equipment to load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and delivery vans. They move items within the plant and warehouse, pack and prepare orders, and verify documentation related to incoming and outgoing shipments.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Forklift experience (certification required);
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office software;
  • Ability to lift up to 20 kilograms / 45 pounds;
  • Good physical condition with no hearing issues;
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Responsibilities
  • Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
  • Insure the loading of product onto outbound trailers are loaded carefully and correctly as per the BOL.
  • Maintains inventory of shipping materials, supplies and finished goods using the F.I.F.O. guide lines.
  • Ensure the production lines are fully stocked with the proper materials
  • Remove finished product from the production line and properly label and store in the warehouse.
